About Property Race Day

Over€1.5 Million Raised for Children’s Charities

Since its inception, Property Race Day has proudly raised over €1,500,000 for a range of incredible children’s charities, thanks to the unwavering generosity of our Sponsors, Partners, and Table Hosts.

In 2025, the funds raised supported Barretstown, Make-A-Wish, and ISPCC—three exceptional organisations providing vital support to children and their families across Ireland.

Our 11th annual Property Race Day took place on Thursday, 12th June 2025, at the  Pavilion at Leopardstown Racecourse. Despite the rain, spirits remained high as over 450 of Ireland’s leading figures in property, investment, and finance came together for a day of excitement, entertainment, and extraordinary generosity, raising an outstanding €225,000 for our three chosen charities.

The afternoon was filled with thrilling races, live performances by the Bugle Babes and Celtic Drummers, and unforgettable moments hosted by our brilliant MC, Barry Murphy, whose comedic flair and impeccable timing lit up the room.

One of the day’s highlights was our charity auction, masterfully led by auctioneer Paul Grimes, which raised a phenomenal €83,000. Prizes included Oasis tickets, a trip to New York City, and a Barretstown Corporate Team Building Experience, all contributing to a truly memorable occasion.

Outgoing Chairman Andrew Gunne opened the event by extending heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors and table hosts and acknowledged the incredible milestone of raising over €1.5 million for children’s charities over the past 11 years.

Property Race Day continues to be a shining example of the positive impact the real estate community can achieve when we come together.

Thank you to everyone involved.
Here's to many more years of racing, networking, and making a difference together.

“When we founded Property Race Day in 2014, our goal was to raise €1 million for children’s charities in ten years. Thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve surpassed that milestone.

This year, the funds raised will support Barretstown, Make-A-Wish, and Neurodiversity Ireland. Together, we continue to make this the number one event in the Irish property calendar. Thank you to our Hosts, Cornerstone Sponsors, and Event Sponsors. Your unwavering support is appreciated”.

Message from the President

When we set up Property Race Day in 2014, we had two goals. The first was to raise €1 million (net) for children’s charities in 10 years. I am delighted to confirm that with your help, we have now surpassed the €1 million mark.

The second was to make this the number one event in the annual property calendar. Together we have done that. Your support has been unwavering from the beginning. This year the net funds raised will go to Barretstown, Make-A-Wish, and Neurodiversity Ireland. For the real estate and real estate financing community, it is great to be raising funds for these worthwhile children charities.

Thank you to our Hosts, Cornerstone Sponsors, and Event Sponsors. Your unwavering support is appreciated.

A special word of thanks to my Committee: Claire Solon, Jamie Rohan, Paul G Grimes, Johnny Horgan, and Chairman Paul McDonnell. Thank you also to Joanne Rochford and her team at Invoke Creative Agency for making today happen.

Finally, on behalf of the Committee, thank you, our guests. Together we have succeeded in our ambition to make the Property Race Day the number one event in the real estate calendar.

Have a super day.
